In these terms, BDC ITALIA S.r.l. is also referred to as \u201cLa Bottega di Casa\u201d, the \u201cSeller\u201d, \u201cwe\u201d or \u201cus\u201d.<\/p>\n

These terms apply to consumers: individuals buying for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. For professional or trade purchases, please contact us before ordering to discuss the applicable arrangements.<\/p>\n

These terms cover online sales by BDC ITALIA S.r.l. They do not govern purchases concluded in physical stores or with third-party sellers. Use of the La Bottega di Casa name in another context does not change the identity of the seller shown in your order.<\/p>\n

Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.<\/p>\n

2. Products, descriptions and availability<\/h2>\n

Product features, including composition, dimensions, colors, finishes and personalization options, are set out on each product page and, where applicable, in the agreed quotation.<\/p>\n

Images are intended to help represent the product. Colors may appear differently depending on your screen and its settings; this does not exclude our responsibility if a product genuinely fails to match its description or the agreed features.<\/p>\n

Natural fibers and artisan workmanship may show slight irregularities consistent with the stated quality and characteristics; this does not exclude the guarantee for any lack of conformity. Size tolerances and information on possible shrinkage are provided on the product page or in the quotation.<\/p>\n

If an item is unavailable, we will inform you without undue delay. We do not substitute products, fabrics, colors or sizes without your agreement. Any amounts received for items we cannot supply will be refunded without undue delay, without prejudice to your other statutory rights.<\/p>\n

3. Orders and formation of the contract<\/h2>\n

To purchase, select the items and options you want, enter the required details and review the order summary before submitting. You can correct any input errors before final submission.<\/p>\n

The summary allows you to check at least the products, quantities, selected features, total price, currency, shipping costs, payment method and delivery time information.<\/p>\n

Orders are submitted using a button that clearly indicates an obligation to pay. By submitting your order, you make an offer to purchase on the terms displayed before submission.<\/p>\n

We will send you an electronic acknowledgment of your order without undue delay. The contract is formed when you receive our confirmation of acceptance. The automatic acknowledgment may also serve as acceptance only if it expressly says so; a mere technical confirmation of receipt or payment does not in itself constitute acceptance.<\/p>\n

Before acceptance, we may decline an order for objective reasons, such as unavailability, inability to deliver to the requested address, missing essential information or failed payment authorization. We will tell you the reason and refund any amounts collected without undue delay. Once the contract is formed, our statutory obligations and your remedies remain in full force: we do not reserve any general right to cancel arbitrarily.<\/p>\n

For orders based on a quotation, the contract is formed in accordance with the acceptance procedure stated in the quotation, which is made available together with these terms before purchase.<\/p>\n

Orders and contractual documents are retained as required by law. You will receive confirmation of the contract and the applicable terms on a durable medium, such as email or an attachment, within a reasonable time and at the latest on delivery. You may request a copy by contacting our customer service. The contract language is the language used in the checkout process or expressly agreed in the quotation.<\/p>\n

4. Prices, currency, taxes and international charges<\/h2>\n

Before you submit your order, we show the total price payable to BDC ITALIA S.r.l., the transaction currency and any shipping or additional service charges. Consumer prices include the taxes we are required to include.<\/p>\n

Prices on labottegadicasa.com are shown in US dollars (USD). Any currency conversion carried out by your bank or payment provider is subject to the terms of the service you have chosen.<\/p>\n

For deliveries outside the European Union, before purchase we tell you whether the total includes import duties and taxes or whether these are payable by you separately to the carrier or the authorities. If an amount cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we inform you that it exists and, where possible, how it is determined. You cannot be charged additional costs that the law required us to disclose and that were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Price changes apply to future purchases and do not increase the price of a contract already concluded. If there is a pricing error, we will contact you to clarify the situation in accordance with the law; we will not unilaterally charge a higher amount.<\/p>\n

5. Payment and tax documents<\/h2>\n

You may use the methods actually available at checkout, as described on the Payments<\/a> page, such as cards, PayPal and bank transfer.<\/p>\n

Amounts payable and any due dates are shown before you order or in the quotation. For advance payment by bank transfer, preparation or shipment follows receipt of payment within the times communicated and agreed. Any delay will be handled in accordance with your rights and does not allow delivery to be postponed indefinitely.<\/p>\n

Electronic payments are processed by payment service providers using the procedures available at the time of purchase. We do not apply prohibited surcharges for the use of any payment method.<\/p>\n

Tax documents are issued in accordance with applicable law. If you need an invoice, please provide the necessary details within the time and in the manner requested before it is issued. Any errors will be handled in accordance with the applicable tax procedures.<\/p>\n

6. Shipping, delivery and transfer of risk<\/h2>\n

Orders are shipped from Follina, Italy, to the destinations served and available at checkout or agreed with us before ordering. Costs and general information are available on the Shipments and deliveries<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

The delivery times applicable to your order are communicated before the contract is formed. For made-to-measure items, they are agreed in the quotation or in the pre-contractual information. Preparation or dispatch time does not necessarily coincide with the time of delivery to you.<\/p>\n

Unless another time is agreed, we deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is formed. If we miss the applicable deadline, you may ask us to deliver within an additional period appropriate to the circumstances and, if that period also expires, terminate the contract. You do not need to grant an additional period where the law so provides, for example if we refuse to deliver or if the agreed delivery date was essential. If the contract is terminated, we refund the amounts due without undue delay, without prejudice to other remedies.<\/p>\n

For orders shipped to the United States, where the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule applies, if we cannot ship within the stated time we will notify you promptly, offering a revised shipping date and the option to cancel for a full refund. We ask for your express consent to any delay; without your consent, we do not keep the order open indefinitely and will cancel and refund it within the applicable time limits.<\/p>\n

The risk of loss or damage during delivery remains with us until you, or a person you designate other than the carrier, physically receive the products. If you independently engage a carrier not offered by us, risk passes when the goods are delivered to that carrier, where the law so provides.<\/p>\n

On receipt, we recommend checking the number of parcels and the condition of the packaging, reporting any visible damage to the carrier and keeping photographs. Accepting delivery without a written reservation does not automatically remove your rights against us. For goods not received or damaged in transit, you can contact us directly.<\/p>\n

7. Made-to-measure and personalized products<\/h2>\n

For made-to-measure items, we agree before purchase the finished product dimensions, fabric, finishes, any personalization, price and delivery time. It is important to distinguish between the size of the table and the size of the finished tablecloth, including the desired drop.<\/p>\n

Please check the specification summary carefully before accepting it. If we help you determine the measurements or accept a specific intended use, we remain responsible for our advice and for the agreed characteristics.<\/p>\n

After the order is concluded, any changes require written agreement and may affect price and delivery time. If an item is genuinely personalized, we may consider a request for voluntary cancellation depending on the stage of production; this does not limit your remedies for any failure on our part or for a lack of conformity.<\/p>\n

The exclusion of the change-of-mind right of withdrawal applies only to goods made to the consumer\u2019s specifications or clearly personalized, under Article 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code, and is disclosed before purchase. A standard item is not excluded merely because it is sewn after the order is placed or because the customer selects an ordinary catalog option.<\/p>\n

8. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds<\/h2>\n

8.1 Scope and deadline for withdrawal<\/h3>\n

Except for goods made to the consumer\u2019s specifications or clearly personalized, you may withdraw without giving any reason within 14 days of delivery to you or a third party you designate, other than the carrier. The period begins on the day after delivery. For several goods in a single order delivered separately, the period runs from delivery of the last good; for a good delivered in several lots or pieces, from delivery of the last lot or piece. Any statutory extensions remain applicable.<\/p>\n

For consumers outside the European Union, including in the United States, we offer the same change-of-mind procedure even where it is not required by law. Any more favorable mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.<\/p>\n

Standard items are not excluded merely because they are on sale, made after the order is placed or part of our Vintage collection. We do not apply a blanket hygiene exclusion to home linens.<\/p>\n
